Payment Policy
To secure your luxury picnic experience, the following payment terms apply:
Booking Deposit
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your date, time, and location. Without this deposit, your reservation is not confirmed.
Remaining Balance
The remaining 50% is due no later than 72 hours (3 days) before your event. If not paid on time, your reservation may be canceled, and your deposit forfeited.
Damage & Loss Responsibility
We do not require a damage deposit upfront. However, by booking with us, you agree to take full financial responsibility for any loss, theft, or damage to our property during your event. This includes, but is not limited to:
Tableware and glassware
Décor and floral arrangements
Games and furnishings
Excessive cleaning required beyond normal use
If any item needs repair or replacement, an invoice will be issued after the event.

Each self-service picnic rental includes a curated setup styled to match your selected theme, featuring:

• 2 collapsible wagons for easy transport

Food and beverages are not included — BYO food & drinks.
Where Do You Host Picnics?
We host picnics at local parks, beaches, private residences, and even backyards. Not sure where to go? We're happy to help you choose the perfect location.
What Happens If It Rains For My All Inclusive Picnic (Full Service)?
We know Charlotte weather can be unpredictable. If inclement weather is expected, The Spread reserves the right to reschedule at our sole discretion. We’ll notify you via text or email and attempt to reschedule your picnic for another day and time.
You may also opt to move your picnic indoors or reschedule it within 3 months of the original event date.
☁️ What Is The Self Service Weather Policy
Self-service rentals are not weather dependent.
Clients are responsible for selecting an appropriate location and having a weather backup plan if needed.
Non-Weather-Related Rescheduling & Cancellation (7 Days Notice)
Cancel 7 or more days before your scheduled picnic for a full refund.
3–6 Days’ Notice
If you reschedule with 3 to 6 days' notice, 50% of your payment can be applied to a new picnic date. The new date must fall within 3 months of your original reservation. No refunds will be given during this window.
2 Days or Less (Including Same-Day)
If you cancel or attempt to reschedule with 2 days' notice or less, no refunds or credits will be issued.
Arrival Policy
We’re committed to making your experience smooth and enjoyable. To help us stay on schedule for all our clients, we kindly ask that you arrive on time.
A 30-minute grace period is allowed after your scheduled start time.
If you arrive more than 30 minutes late, your picnic may be considered a no-show, and we reserve the right to begin teardown or prepare for the next setup.
Please note: your reservation begins at the scheduled time, not your arrival time. We’ll always be ready on time—and we kindly ask the same of you so you can enjoy every minute of your experience.
Equipment Policy
All picnic items provided by The Spread—including décor, tableware, furniture, and games—are the property of our company and are for temporary use during your event. Please treat all items with care and return them in the condition they were received.
If something is damaged, broken, or missing, plase notify us by text as soon as possible so we can handle it quickly and respectfully.
Damage & Spills Policy
We pride ourselves on delivering stylish, clean items for your enjoyment. If any tears, spills, or stains occur, please let us know.
Small spills with clear or non-staining liquids may not be charged at full replacement value but could result in a dry cleaning fee, if necessary.
Cleaning & Sanitation Policy
At The Spread, your health and safety are just as important to us as the aesthetic. After every picnic, all equipment—including tableware, linens, décor, and seating—is thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and inspected to ensure it’s fresh and ready for the next guest.
We take great care in maintaining our items so you can relax and enjoy your time with confidence.
